This We Believe!

SCRIPTURE



We believe in the Bible as the only inspired, inerrant written Word of God authoritative for faith and practice.

(2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19,20)

TRINITY

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Who is the creator and sustainer of all things and worthy of our worship and praise.

(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17; Genesis 1:1-2; John 1:1-3; Hebrews 1:1-4)

CHRIST

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death for our sins by His shed blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal, visible return in power and glory.

SALVATION

We believe that based upon Christ’s death for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We believe that all people are lost and without God in their natural state, but by the grace of God those who exercise genuine faith in the Lord Jesus Christ are saved - justified, baptized into his death, and born again, from above, by the Holy Spirit.

HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit. By His indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life, is spiritually gifted for ministry to others, and is capable of standing firm against the schemes of the Devil, the deceiver of men and personal enemy of God.
